The Willow Run project
includes over 513 acres on the north side of US Route 29/15 in the eastern portion of Culpeper County, Virginia. The Willow Run property is located within the Brandy Station/ Elkwood Village Center. Willow Run’s size and location make the property an ideal choice for becoming the eastern gateway to Culpeper County. Willow Run will include the following three zoning categories, CS (Commercial Services), VC (Village Center), and LI (Light Industrial).  This project will contain a mix of commercial, retail, industrial, and residential uses and is well positioned to serve as a major shopping, entertainment and regional employment center.

DGA has planned for more than 3,000,000 square feet of building construction and over 200 acres of outdoor recreational space.  The retail building component of Willow Run is planned for more than 1.7 million square feet.  The remaining 1.65 million square feet of new building construction consists of hotel, educational, residential, office, support services, recreational and light industrial uses.

The project will be phased with site and building design scheduled to begin in late 2007.  The construction is planned to occur over the next fifteen years and is budgeted for $2.3 billion.
